What we do
Siege turns engineering principles into a contest of design. Each round gives teams a brief and a limited set of materials: a bridge that has to carry a load, a boat that has to float, a catapult that has to put a water balloon where it was aimed.
The rounds test structural strength, efficiency and accuracy against the clock, so the winning design is usually the one that was thought through, not the one that looked best on paper.
